About Us

The Freemen House is a 12-Step, substance-free community in the greater Dover, NH area for men and women in recovery from alcoholism and/or substance use disorder.  Freemen Houses are not facilities. Our residents interact as members of a large, supportive family in which each individual is valued and respected. Our homes offer the safety, structure, and peer mentoring that fosters growth through the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.

We gather each week for family dinner and usually have over 25 people attend.
